Airport CRA Advisory Board

 Meeting held the second Thursday of each month at 12 noon. This is a seven-member board with two alternate members. They are residents of the area appointed by the City Council for terms of two years each.

The Airport has one opening on an alternate.

Main Street CRA Advisory Board

 Meeting held on the first Thursday of each month at 5:30 p.m. This is a seven-member commission with two alternate commissioners. The commissioners must live in, own a business in or be employed in the CRA district and be appointed by the City Council for a four-year term.

The Main Street CRA has an opening for a regular member, and an alternate.

Southside CRA Advisory Board

Meeting held on the second Thursday of each month at 5:30 p.m. This is a seven-member commission with two alternate commissioners. The commissioners must live in, own a business in or be employed in the CRA district and be appointed by the City Council for a four-year term.

The Southside CRA has an opening for two alternates.

Planning and Zoning Board

Meeting held on the second Tuesday of each month at 5:00 p.m. This is a seven-member board with three alternate board members. The members must be a resident of the City of Avon Park and be appointed by the City Council for a three-year term.

Zoning Board of Adjustment

Meeting held as necessary. This is a seven-member board with three alternate board members. The members must be a resident of the City of Avon Park and be appointed by the City Council for a three-year term. Recreation Committee

Recreation Committee

Meetings held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month.  The meetings are held at the Council Chambers at 5:30 p.m. This is a seven-member board with two alternates appointed by the City Council for a three-year term.
