The City Is in the process of upgrading sewer lift stations and sewer transmission lines. The picture is of the new lift station at South Lake Avenue. The station replaces a DAVCO station that was built in the early 1960’s.

The city has an ongoing program to place a pipe liner in the older, sections of the sewer pipe. The pipe has either deteriorated overtime or roots have grown into the pipe. The liner creates a new pipe with minimal disturbances of the ground, (open trenching).
